“Dehours’s NV Mareuil-le-Port Brisefer Réserve Perpétuelle, the latest release from this east-facing site planted in 1947 with massal-selection Chardonnay, is a perpetual blend from 2013 to 2020. The parcel is rich in red clay and located at the foot of the slope. Disgorged in November 2023 and containing five grams of residual sugar, it unfurls from the glass with aromas of pear, orange and warm pastry mingling with lemon zest. Medium- to full-bodied, energetic and vibrant, it boasts bright acids and a deep profile. After drawing off 50% for bottling, the perpetual reserve is refreshed with the latest vintage, ensuring the foudre remains full until the next tirage.” – 95 point, Wine Advocate
